For the moms Googling at 3 AM...

Welcome to The Isolette Hours, where we talk about what it's really like to be a preemie parent- the guilt spirals, the pride when your child poops, and all the contradictory feelings in between. It's just honest stories from the trenches, because sometimes you need to know that someone else has also cried in a hospital parking lot over absolutely nothing and absolutely everything at once.

My Story

I became a NICU mom when my daughter arrived at 32 weeks, turning what I thought would be a normal third trimester into a crash course in medical terminology, monitor tones, and the particular hell of leaving the hospital without your baby.

I needed, and continue to need, a place that isn't Reddit or a PubMed white paper to process the daily challenges of being a preemie parent.
